Protect your music. Get paid.

When your music is broadcast, streamed or performed in public anywhere in Nepal — or in any of 127 countries with which MRCSN has a reciprocal agreement — a royalty is owed to you. We collect it and pay it to you four times a year.

How it works

Apply for membership

Complete the online application with your identity documents and rights affiliations. One-time fee रू 500 + annual dues रू 1,500.

Get your IPI and Member ID

Upon verification (≤7 working days), you receive an IPI base number from CISAC and a permanent MRCSN-FM-XXXXX Member ID.

Register your works

Log into your portal, enter the split sheet for each work. MRCSN requests an ISWC from WIPO Connect and pushes the work to CIS-Net.

Collect royalties quarterly

Domestic and international royalties are distributed four times per year directly to your bank account, with a detailed statement in the portal.

15% administrative deduction is applied before royalty distribution, in accordance with the Copyright Act. Net royalties are paid directly to your bank account.
